What do I do with this??
Edited by anniekins at 2013-8-17 09:27I can't decide how to finish this heart shaped cross stitch....I found some perfect fabric for the back, but it's too big for a pincusion, and too small for a regular pillow.Any suggestions?I used red overdyed thread and love the way it looks. The one I saw finished was just a simple pillow.
VeryBeautiful!Thankyouforsharing! very nice This is such a charming design, and you did it beautifully! very pretty ... a mini wall hanging? or a little doily? Amazing work! nice , I've made the same (The Primitive Hare-Freebie)
stitched 1:1 and made a pillow and filled it with cherry seeds,
heat it in the microwave.
You could make it into a scented cushion also by adding lavender or rose hips; any scent you like. Or you could make it into a little bag with scent or to store soaps in your bathroom. The options are endless. Try pinterest for ideas. They have a lot of crafty ideas on the website. very nice :) If your sewing skills are up to it, maybe you could give it extra borders. Probably red, black and/or white.Adding borders is a good way to get something larger quickly, you could get cushion or pillow size and adjust this border width and numbers to suit yourself. Very nice :) Puedes hacer una bolsa para viaje para la ropa interio o añadiendo tela combinada una bolsa mas grande para organizar la ropa en el cajon, o incluso forrar una caja I would finish it the same as you would a flat ornament with a twisted cord trim and hang over a knob on a cupboard or a door knob. It's cute! :) I had the same issue with a certain project I did.I added extra fabric to the edges to make borders and then it was large enough for a pillow.
