Help Finishing a Pattern
Edited by seb0357 at 2013-6-22 01:45I am trying to finish a Just Nan Noella's berry that I got from a pattern. It is OOP and I didn't get the complete kit, so I need suggestions on how to put a cap on this berry without the actual cap that came in the kit.I have gone to the fabric stores and looked for cap type buttons, but haven't been able to find any large enough to use yet.Does anyone have any suggestions on where or how to finish this?I have attached 2 pics so that you can see what I need to finish. It is supposed to look like the link on this site:

Verry nice work!!! Thank you for sharing:) Amazing work! Thanks for sharing Very nice, thanks for sharing. very sweet and beautiful! Очень красивая работа! Thank you for sharing Thank you for showing! Very cute seb............ did you think of embroidering a piece of fabric in gold thread then sewing it on? I would suggest though to get a sturdy fabric. White cotton twill would do, sturdy and easy to embroider. I can't think of anything off hand that you can just sew on.
Felt would be too weak and I don't think you would be able to match the colour well.I'm sure someone will post a great idea.

Thanks LouAnna!I found 2 bottle cap type buttons that I might could bend and cover with felt in a brown and glue or sew on and attach the ribbon, but I don't know if that will work yet.I thought maybe if someone knew of an online store, or anyway I could finish it would be an improvement. Maybe someone will come up with something I can do, thanks for your suggestion. Check out this link for bead caps that might be suitable
