I stitched it on a wider band than that used by Il Telaio, 50 stitches wide rather than 40, and I used a number of different motifs from magazines and books. The chatelaine has three pockets for little sewing tools and notions, a scissor pocket and some rings for flosses and ribbons etc. Some of the motifs were embroidered one over one, and I used cross stitch, algerian eyelets, rhodes heart etc for certain details.
