I'm planning to use variation floss in my next floral project too.I think it would work well for flowers and plants.

Interesting ways of using this special colored threads. I had no clue how to use it but all your suggestions make sense. Thanks.

One note about variation floss is to stitch full crosses for each stitch.Meaning, if you are a stitcher who normally does one leg across a piece and then comes back and stitches the other leg (to make the 'X') do full 'X's' for each stitch instead. This will ensure good colour variation and each stitch will be one solid colour.Hope this helps and happy stitching.

the Anchor Multicolor Thread is not so good as overdyed floss.
you can use it for monochromes
Those are so pretty! The color variations on the purple/blue heart are subtle and lovely.

Yo los uso para sustituir algunos hilos especiales en esquemas de Victoria Sampler. Quedan muy lindos. :D

Variation thread can truly be used for anything. That being said, I really like using it for text on simpler patterns.
