NC "Lilac"; My Finished Transformation to "Poinsettia"...
Edited by asiaanne at 2012-10-30 13:53This is my very first upload!!!I am so excited to share!!!
I stitched the Nora Corbett Pixie "Lilac" as the pattern dictated for my mother-in-law (she loves purple) and again for my step-mother.To save money on patterns, I then stitched her a THIRD time, this time changing her entirely for Christmas Holiday into "Poinsettia" for my mother.
My mother requested the blonde hair, all other choices were my own to fit the new "theme".
Holiday deep wines, cranberry, and reds showcase the richness of the Poinsettia flower.A cheerful skirt base of brilliant holiday greens empahsize a royal gold bodice and skirt flourishes."Poinsettia" says "Happy Christmas Holiday" in a recongizable way featuring her regal reds, greens and golds.
Please enjoy, and I am sharing the materials required in the event anyone else feels a festive feeling and wishes to make this "new; transformed" design!!!If you have the original chart, you can then make the required substitions...
